Los Ajos Comida Casera - Cabo San Lucas

If you surpass this here, it's because you don't want to go, or you're tempted. Much better food somewhere else... reminded me of Low End Chevys.

According to Uber driver, this restaurant has filmed food for the crew of a Brad Pitt movie in Cabo and now every time Brad comes to Cabo he eats here! Regardless of history, we had an excellent meal here. Mushroom quesadillas, fish tacos,...and super cheap cervezas! Really friendly and friendly staff and very affordable prices. We just happened at this place when we walked around, but I'd go out to get back to Cabo next time!

Well we had the misfortune to bring along a family to Cabo for the first time and take them to this place. It is centrally located and hard to miss when you walk by so you think....hmm this looks like a good spot. It has...a buffet special so it does gather people. We ordered a la carte and when our pancakes arrived for the kids.... they asked for some syrup. As soon as the bottle of syrup was placed on the table the kids immediately began to see spiders and asking where they were coming from. We looked everywhere since now we had a table full of very small spiders that weren’t there before. After a closer look we found them by the hundreds inside the syrup. We informed the waitress who downplayed it by saying they were ants. Took the syrup bottle then brought back a syrup in a different container, not the original bottle, which obvious led everyone to believe she just maybe drained the spiders but gave us the same syrup. Needless to say the kids stopped eating. Unfortunately again after the incident we found bugs inside our freshly squeezed fruit juice pitcher. Not one but several. Once again we brought it to the waitress attention who just said it was part of the fruit not actual insects. We all knew better. I complained and she had the nerve of “charging us for a small pitcher not a large as ordered”. I suggest you walk right past this restaurant, although the decor is authentic and great the bugs in the food are not.

I don´t often go to buffet since I don´t like to eat that much, but sometimes I make an exception, I have done an exception at this place since the price on the menu and the buffet is pretty much the same and I get...to eat a variety of dishes, they serve Mexican food mostly and the taste is really good, plus the place is clean, the staff is really kind (doesn´t matter if you are a local or a tourist) and one of the best things is the location, is right in front of Puerto Paraiso mall, just down town so is quite easy to get there. Being a local I often go there with my family; also if you are a tourist, since you get to eat everything you want and continue walking or visiting with a full stomach then you can skip a meal or just have a light dinner.
