Sunset Monalisa - Cabo San Lucas

An unforgettable experience for sure!! The best place I have ever eaten at, 100%!

We absolutely loved this restaurant. It truly is greater than just a restaurant. The atmosphere is probably the best outdoor dining experience I have ever had. Hopefully the weather will be as perfect for future visitors as we experienced at our visit. We visited early October and the breeze was minimal and the weather was slightly humid but just right for outdoor dining. The weather was perfect. The cocktails are tasty with interesting options. I tried one of their signature cocktails on a special menu, but decided on their version of a Sidecar for my second cocktail. The food was, honestly, okay. Two of us chose the 3 course, and the other two the 5 course options. The highlight of the meal were the scallops, and one of our salads. One of the pasta plates was too salty, and the beef cheeks was just an easy pot roast. It was good but not fantastic. Victor, one of our servers, was very attentive. He was not our main waiter but will be an asset to staff so I hope he is recognized for his sincere smile and attentive personality. I recommend this restaurant as a must see for a complete Cabo experience.

Way over priced for the quality of the food and service (was very slow). Views are amazing but not worth the cost.

Wow! What a fantastic experience! My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and they truly made it a special occasion for us. Pedro and Victor couldn’t have been any better, they were so nice, helpful, and on top of all our needs. The food was absolutely delicious we got the 5 courses and it was A LOT of food. The views were perfect and we had a special treat when the place next door set off fireworks. Pedro captured it all on camera for us too!!

Dinner at Sunset Monalisa was highly recommended by a friend who recently vacationed in Cabo. I am so happy we took her advice and had dinner there, as it was one of the most exquisite experiences I've ever had. From the time we arrived, everything was perfect. Our server, Pedro, happened to be with the hostess outside, so he escorted us to our table. We arrived during the golden hour, and the view was perfect! We did book a preferred table, but I don't think there was a bad view from anywhere. We ordered a bottle of wine and the three-course menu. One thing that impressed me so much was the availability of vegan selections. Our daughter is vegan, and restaurants usually will do veg and rice for her, but they had a full menu and could modify their vegetarian selections. Our food was incredible, and the meal is easily in my Top 5 best meals I've ever had. I highly recommend the Baked Oysters, Heirloom Burrata, and the NY Prime Beef Brusqueta as appetizers. For the main, we loved the Truffle Pasta, Baked Sea Bass, and Eggplant Unami. After the main, they bring a mango popsicle as the palate cleanser. Everyone except our vegan ordered the Peanut Delight, and it was phenomenal! Pedro and his assistant (I can't recall his name right now) were amazing and consummate professionals. We 100% recommend Sunset Monalisa and will visit again.
