The whole Team gave us a warm welcome, and on any single day smiling, friendly at all times. Definitely a nice place to stay during your stay. Mercure Hotels is a Channel. But Mercure Cabourg look more like a Family place. I Highly recommend
Unusually shaped hotel converted from a few traditional houses on 2 floors with 1 lift long corridor 1 km from the beach and restaurants! Our smallish for the price but adequate room was on the 1st floor miles away from the reception but very close to the Spa entrance! The bathroom was ok apart from the lack of non slip surfaces hand rails for the shower inside the bath! Good breakfast room serving proper scrambled eggs unlike Mercure Rochefort! However it lacks a Nespresso coffee machine unlike Mercure Rochefort for making decaf coffee! The fitness room overlooking the race course is great was like our own private gym as few used it! The pool is small with dirty unclear water from overuse and suntan lotion! The Sauna is ok but has barely enough room for 2 people lying down! The hammam is ok once you learn how to make it generate steam!
We had a wonderful stay at this family hotel in Cabourg. The reception greeted us warmly upon arrival and was very helpful. The hotel has a great kids' facility which is perfect for families with children. The wellness facilities are fine but not the best quality. There were few things to point out such as: The pool was not heated enough for us to enjoy it longer. One of the sauna rooms was not working. It can get crowded in the wellness area if there are many check-ins. However, this shouldn't stop you from booking at this hotel. This place is located just 20-min walk or 6-mim drive to the town center and coastline. There's also a hippodrome in front of the hotel which can be very interesting during summer for horse lovers. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Although there were not so many variations, it is really nice to taste the local produce like cheese, jams, and caramel spreads. I will definitely come back at this hotel, if we ever come to visit this area in Normandy.
We spent three nights at Mercure Hotel in Cabourg. This is our second stay at an interval of one year. Excellent staff reception, smiling, available, listening. Bedding, room and impeccable cleanliness, conforming to the Mercure standard. Great breakfast. Location of the hotel close to the city but sufficiently away to be quiet in front of the hippodrome where we were able to see the horses train. We were able to enjoy the swimming pool, well heated, as well as the steam room and sauna, which were not frequented at that time of the year. So wonderful experience. Thanks to the whole team for its reception, listening and professionalism.
A beautiful hotel, not far from the city centre of Cabourg, which offers many services (piscine, hammam, sauna, massages, etc. in a quiet and relaxing environment for a relatively correct price. I particularly appreciated the efforts made in favour of the environment (glass carafes with water fountains available, etc.). Small negative point: breakfast, although good and very hearty, is very expensive in my sense.
