We came for dinner without reservations and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. We had fish ceviche to start which had a nice kick with some Birds Eye chilies. The paella marinera was beautiful and came covered in an assortment of shellfish. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great!
This is the perfect Spanish restaurant. First the setting: a warm, cozy, small restaurant with white walls, like you’re in a cave. Blue checkered tablecloths. Second, the stafff: It’s a family owned restaurant and everyone is very attentive and cheerful. You feel like you’re eating in someone’s home. Third, and most importantly, the food: It is EXCELLENT! I ate here four nights in a row it was so good. First night I had a huge pot of perfectly seasoned mussels. Second night I had the sea bass. Third night I had rabbit. Fourth night I had ribs of lamb. Each meal was perfect. All came with perfectly seasoned vegetables. The cheesecake dessert was awesome as well. I’ve spent several months in northern Spain eating out every night at good restaurants. Madrid, Barcelona, Lugo, San Sebastián, Girona. This is the best! Incredible.
I had looked up the best place to eat in the cadaques and came across this place numerous times. Hands down the BEST paella i have ever had. It was phenomenal. We have travelled through Barcelona, Valencia and Seville and this place was still the best paella we have ever had. Highly recommend. Definitely book so you dont have to wait for a table!
