Chef Cyril delivered an amazing meal in a charming atmosphere. It was truly a delightful experience. I would highly recommend.
Our party of 3, with invited guest, had a reservation confirmed in email by restaurant for Thursday 27 April that was made over a month prior. We showed up at 7:45 for our 8:00 reservation only to find restaurant closed that night. This of course left us scrambling to find an alternative restaurant nearby at the last minute. We find this totally unacceptable. Based on our experience we would NOT recommend this restaurant and others might be wise to avoid. Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS
A great family owned place where the owner is the chef. A small’ish menu with only 3 options per course but , wow , they were all cooked brilliantly and had amazing flavours.
Lunchtime Friday on the terrace above the main restaurant. Friendly and relaxed welcome from Madame and a cheery greeting from the attentive and knowledgeable waitress. Menu du jour comprised a starter of stuffed fleur de courgette with estragon beautifully presented and delicious, followed by a choice of turbot or filet mignon de porc. Both were absolutely fabulous with a beautiful blend of flavors and textures in the sauces and accompanying baked, fresh vegetables. Dessert a fondant au chocolat to die for or a selection of goats cheeses from a local supplier. This, all washed down with a lovely Syrah from the Côte Rôtie région some mineral water and espresso to finish. What an absolute delight and the bill for all of this well, you find out. Outstanding!
