The service was extremely friendly, and the manager personally greeted us, asking where we were from and if we knew about Cadiz's Pork Festival, among other things. Local patrons were also curious about our origins and shared how beautiful the area is. The corn shrimp chowder had a slight peppery kick and was very flavorful. We also ordered a burger topped with all the usual fixings and freshly grilled bacon. The fried green tomatoes were good, though not particularly remarkable. Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful late lunch after a day of hiking and sightseeing in the Land Between the Lakes!
The experience was really good, although I would advise against ordering lemon with your water, as it tastes like cardboard and comes in ketchup packets. The waiter was very friendly, and I highly recommend the Gouda red pepper soup.
I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this gem on Catfish "Fry "day. Man was I in for a treat! It was all you can eat but they brought the first plate with 4 filets that were 2 inches thick and the size of a pie plate each. Amazing! Sides were coleslaw, white beans, fries, hush puppies, and greens! I 'm telling you this was dit for a king. Great service too! Highlyrecommend and will be back 100%!! Well done!!!
Very friendly people, food was great! My vegetable omelet was very good. Reasonable prices and nice size servings. Will definitely stop back when we are next in Cadiz!
