Casserole & Bouchons - Caen

We called two times at this restaurant it was so good. Very reasonable prices €23 for Camembert parcel starter and steak/frites main course. The cod fillet was a good size too and tasty. As was the salmon starter or prawns and asparagus starter. Also very...reasonable wine prices The waiter was very courteous and spoke excellent English. Highly recommended

A very pretty restaurant especially for ladies easy walk in city location on the canal Decore anything but masculine but the food will appeal to any carnivore male or female House specialty of course Casserole but served to table in individual saucepan. We had the...veal with a baked potato and it was delicious Serving enough to serve 2 but sadly it's a saucepan for each guest as the French believe in feeding their guests well for the Euro spend Shared desert worked Enjoyed

On entering Casserole Bouchons you will undoubtably be struck by the pink, silver and black decor that looks like something Jordan (yes the Peter Andre one) might have designed. Get past this minor setback and you will enjoy a cracking set menu with good...wine to match. Nice staff too.

And very nice setting, very well placed in the city center of caen and in front of the canal. very welcoming staff. There is research in the design of dishes, but nothing extraordinary.

We were drawn to this sign. beautiful establishment, excellent reception, pro and efficient. flat side the concept of menus and simple rates allow you to focus on the best taste choice. the dishes are copied, visually well presented. the food lacks a little peps but a bunch of mills allow to lift its plate to its taste. a very nice address on all points. I recommend without hesitation.
