A trip to CDO isn't complete if you don't take with you home its famed delicacy, the pastel. It's actually not a homegrown product but from neighboring Camiguin province. However, it's in CDO that it gets sold the most. Hence, by default it came to be known as it's own.

If you 're looking for the famous pasalubong in CDO, pastel, then this is the right place to be. They offer various flavor for their pastel but yema is really their bestseller. The bread has that melting quality when you eat. It is filled with much yema, so it 's definitely worth. Downside would only be the 'umay ' factor after eating 1 piece; it is sweet so a word of caution to diabetic people. You can buy pastel at 102Php for a box of 6 pcs or save up with 198Php for a box of 12 pcs. We went to their Tiano branch since the Corrales branch beside DTI closed up early on a Tuesday night. This branch offers different pasalubongs. I don 't know much about the others so I only opted to buy pastel. If you want yours placed in a carton box, buy 6 of the 12pcs-box of pastel. If not, they will charge you 50Php for less than that.

Vjandep is famously known for its pastel (bread with yummy fillings inside), and other delicacies that will be truly enjoyed by everyone. While in Camiguin, we didn't waste our time to visit its store there to buy pasalubong aka souvenirs for all our friends. Well, we bought chicharon pusit (a well-known delicacy of Camiguin), pastel, and chocolate chips. They also offer Lanzones Vinegar which belongs to Camiguin's top products for export. We didn't buy it since we didn't have a check-in baggage, but if ever we had, we will. I do recommend that tourists whether local or foreign, should visit this place to buy souvenirs.

A friendly establishment from the guard to the attending staff and cashier. There are a lot of choices but the best buy of course is their pastel!
