Cote et sud - Cagnes-sur-Mer

We went in to eat on a Saturday evening. There were a lot of tables, the owner/waiter was not keen to serve us. We were tired after a day trip so we won’t go further. We waited too long for the menu and for the food. My wife ordered swordfish which was almost cremated, my mixed seafood plate was ok, but was served without pommes as I ordered. The waiter forgot to bring out the wine I ordered despite I asked twice. It gave me a feeling that we are not welcome. The evening after, on a Sunday the same scene, despite free tables the same waiter told us that’s outsold and turned his back on us. Thank God there are a lot of restaurants in the town

Food was nice, however not impressive. The service was excellent, very fast and friendly. Convenu location right on Promenade de la Plage

In our search for a local restaurant to our new flat we are determined to try them all. BUT this was simply inedible the risotto was unswallowable and the moules boiled to hell. The Parmesan requested to flavour the risotto was industrial. Rose by the glass was fine. Service was fine too. Shame about the food.

Very good restaurant and very good reception recommended nice house kitchen facing the sea and beautiful decoration and for homemade fries
