Angus Ranch Co. marks a special new low in quality of meat cuts here in Puerto Rico. The service in general was pretty bad. My wife and i are huge meat purist/lovers and it was an awful experience flavor/quality wise. So my advice to you... Don't go to Angus Ranch and Co. Keep not going... Keep not going at all!
Not my favorite meal during this trip. Ordered mofongo con camarones al ajillo (garlic shrimp) and the last thing they tasted like was garlic. The sangria had a good flavor but it had no alcohol whatsoever. I drank the entire pitcher and wasn't even buzzed. The concept is good, they just need to improve their food much more.
I recently went to Angus Ranch with a few friends. I guess it was everything but the food that I didn't like. The whole time, the restaurant smelled like cow poop. The decor was ok, but I felt a bit uncomfortable with all the taxidermy and junk on the walls watching me eat. So we went and sat down, and they gave us bread with this super nasty pink butter thing. Then it took a while for them to bring us our food. But my food tasted amazing, I had the churrasco with fries, but my friends food was the problem. He ordered som ribs. So, half his ribs were bone, and when he let the waiter know, he started messing with his food. But he was a nice guy. The food was also really expensive. But my food made up for it. That's why Angus Ranch gets three stars.
Perhaps it was the food I ordered but I was expecting more. I ordered baby back ribs with fried platain (tostones) and my boyfriend ordered a churrasco with mashed potatoes. I liked his plate better. Anyways, the other tables food seemed pretty good and tasty so maybe I'll give it another chance. Btw, this restaurant it's a little pricy.
