Always packed in the summer which is a sign they're doing something right but they will always try to get you a table if you're happy to have a drink and wait. The views out to Valentia Island are extraordinary and the pub/restaurant's atmosphere is always happy and buzzy. The owner is a great host and makes you feel welcome and he's really on the ball so even if it's heaving, he'll give you a time estimate for when a table is likely to be free. And he comes and finds you. It's how all busy restaurants should work.
Once again, visited on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews. Although it was busy, the welcome was warm and genuine. Good range on the menu but with a focus on seafood. I chose the Monkfish special which came with a side salad which is a refreshing change from chips . It consisted of many small pieces of monkfish together with potatoes in a soup like mixture. I found it a fresh way to prepare monkfish and it was divine. I was very well looked after and loved the ambiance of the Point.
We went for lunch. Was recommended to us by our daughter and her friend. Food was absolutely delicious. HOWEVER. this restaurant is not really suitable for children. Our 3 year old grandson was devastated they had no chips. How we laughed
This place is one of the best sea food restaurants in ireland..and our 5- 6 time to dine. we waited over 1hrs to get the table but the wait is worth.!!! The location is beautiful... Food quality the best we spoke the ower and he knows how to keep the quality. Love the lobster
Greatest fish, good atmosphere. Highly raccomanded! Very nice place to have a dinner with your partner! The owner found us a table even if it was full.
