Sawmill Bbq - Cahokia

Really nice people, white bbq and sweet bbq sauces were the ones I tried, delicious. Shared a large brisket platter, and the potato salad was amazing—and I’m not usually a potato salad person. Ordered a premium side of Jalapeño Mac Bites it tasted like a jalapeño popper mixed with extra creamy noodles. Absolutely amazing, I 100% recommend them. If you’re staying at the RV Parque, there’s a little discount.

My husband and I are staying at the campground next to the restaurant so we walked over for takeout. I got the 1/2 rack ribs with fries and onion rings. The ribs were so good. They fell off the bone and the sweet bbq sauce was perfect for them. The fries were warm and done crispy and the onion rings were good too. My hubby got the 1/2 platter of brisket with corn nuggets, which is cream of corn deep fried and he got green beans. The green beans were plain and not at all rubbery the corn nuggets were different but not bad.

Staying at the nearby RV park for the 2nd time and the amazing smell finally got to us. Did not disappoint. Very good. Pulled pork was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommended!

Was told by the place my semi truck was being repaired that sawmill had excellent food and delivers here all the time I called to order food delivered because I'm stuck and was told unless I'm ordering a whole bunch of food they would not deliver places like this disgust me even if I had a way to get to them now I wouldn't so if they don't respect us truckers they should get food delivered some other way
