The Prairies Golf Club - Cahokia

Played for the first time . Not a bad place for the money scored a 78 since the back 9 was so short it was just a drive and chip or pitch shot for me ‍ Would recommend for anybody who isn’t a long hitter and just wants to enjoy a round of golf .

Just across the river from SoCo. First time there and was impressed. Good inexpensive golf.

The Praries is a charming throwback course the many of us xers grew up on. We learned to love and appreciate the game o courses just like this. Of special note the diabolical par 4 9th. I will visit again just to give that one another go. I wouldn 't change a single thing.

Can’t beat the prices, greens were really nice. Will be back!

Tough to beat the price. Staff very friendly. I only played the front 9. The course itself is very mediocre. Most of the greens have damage. Some VERY narrow fairways. Random areas in the middle of the fairways were marshy. But overall a decent little municipal course. If I lived closer I’d go more often but I doubt I’ll make the trip over from the MO side again.
