This was our first visit to La Bonne Auberge and agree with so many of the previous Tripadvisor reviews. The food was of the best home cooked with a very tasty beef goulash (stew not soup as the plat du jour. The confit duck was delicious as were the chips. The restaurant was busy with a mixture of locals including a largish walking party. Probably would have had a table for us having turned up on spec but to be sure suggest booking. (We were there on a Wednesday in October. Restaurant is open at lunchtimes only Monday to Friday. The owner was friendly and ran the front of house efficiently and single handed. Relaxed friendly atmosphere and hope to have room for one of the tasty loooking desserts next time!
