The staff were very courteous and arranged a greens dish not on the menu, always a good indication of a good place to eat. The food was delicious and arrived surprisingly quickly. Would happily go again.
We picked up a takeaway the other night and have not eaten there or had a takeaway for a while, the servings are still large/ generous and the prices are still reasonable the combination short soup was excellent but the mains lacked flavour the Mongolia lamb had no chilli could of been any Asian casserole dish we also had duck in crab sce but the crab sce was mostly egg whites sadly very bland and lastly we had pork in special sce had a bit of honey flavour but nothing much else as I said the servings we good size but lacked flavour and the rice was not fried steamed and stuff added) rice, soup 3 dishes $85.00
7 of us dined here.Service was perfect.Food amazing. Soy chicken and crispy skin pork was delicious. Everything served just as we liked it. Will be back for more.
So disappointed, without exaggeration the most tasteless Asian food I have ever eaten. Paid $50.50 for 3 dishes not one of them gets an ok. Kee Kong have been in Cairns for over the 28 yrs I’ve been here I can’t understand why. Not being nasty, but really!! Is that the standard?? NO THANK YOU.
I first ate at this little restaurant 18yrs ago. It’s never change. The food is yum fantastic. My favourite is the chicken in oyster sauce. There is no other restaurant in Cairns’s that makes it like them. I’ve tried to find one 18yrs later they are still the best. You won’t go wrong with any of there meals. As long as they are around I will always come here recommend this restaurant to all. The people r beautiful have good memories.
