When are yall gonna open back up i miss the buffet! ! !

Francis and I will celebrate our 68th 72nd Birthdays and our 19th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow, February 7th. We went to dinner at the Grill for the first time tonight to celebrate these milestones of our life together. We were very pleased with the quiet atmosphere, the tasteful décor and the wonderful service. The Prime Rib of Beef w/ Horseradish sauce, perfect Baked Potato, and Broccoli steamed to perfection were excellent. The menu is very ample and what passed us headed to other tables, looked delicious. They were already out of the Italian Crème Cake; so that must be a favorite and delicious too. Not to worry, next week is Valentines and we are going back again, hopefully they will have some cake left for us then. Francis and Bobby Gibson, Thomasville. Well here it is 2017, 1 year later, 2 more birthdays and 1 more anniversary. We are still eating at the grill, still loving it. Keep up the good work and turning out the delicious food. Jan 31, 2019, We still love the grill, Friday and Saturday date nights are spent here enjoying the great food and service. Anniversay #21 and Birthdays coming up on the 7th of Feb. see you there. Hey, guess what? it's 6/23/2020 and I can't ascertain whether the Grill is open or not, We tried the Pickle Patch last Thursday and it was very good but I miss my Spaghetti and Meat Balls at the grill. Please put an answer machine on your phone or message a FB page. Where have you gone?

UPDATE: After my last couple of visits very recently, I have to give this place one star now. From my understanding the ownership has changed twice in the past few months, and the service reflects that change. Waited 40 min for a deli sandwich with fries. Was told 35 min into the wait they were out of fries and had to cook more. So, no big deal. Don't worry about the fries just bring me my sandwich. 5 min later had to stop our waitress again to ask when our sandwiches would come out? She went back and checked, sandwiches had not even been made yet and it would still be a while for the food to come out. Needless to say we got up and walked out with our waitress laughing at the situation, and offering no apology. Don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. Place was moderately busy that day. Nothing overwhelming. We would have chosen to eat off the buffet, but the two main entrees on the buffet were completely gone, and not replaced until about 30 min into our visit. Buffet is not near as good as it use to be. So sad. This use to be one of, if not the top restaurant in Cairo. They were very consistent with their food and service. Not sure what has changed, but it's very disappointing.

This is the second time we have gone for lunch. We ordered burgers. 1st time it took 45 mins to get the burger. It came out over cooked hard. Fries were burnt and full of grease.. Today we asked if they were doing better. Took another 45 mins. We said box it wish we stayed. Burger was raw and cold in middle. I ordered mushroom burger not mushrooms. If I stayed to eat it I would of returned the food a d not paid for it. 10.00 burgers are not worth it. The grill use to be a great 0lace to eat and and you didn't mind the price. Not anymore. .

Poor service, waited almost an hour for food. New management was only interested in people she knew. They arrived after me, were served befor me. I got up and walked out
