Malibu Canyon Grill - Calabasas

This was the most dangerous and unprofessional spot in Calabasas! The hotel room spelt like urine. There was a really bad altercation downstairs at the restaurant. Multiple cops, ambulance and firetrucks were here. The chef called out sick every day so they only had three items on the menu. I will never be staying here again. And I hope you guys don’t either.

Love this little gem of a find! Located in the Cambria Hotel and is just perfectly sized for a bite to eat and a couple yummy drinks. Ate the poke, which was great, and had 3 different cocktails to try out all the yummy offerings while enjoying the company I was with. My server was attentive and accommodating. Very cool rock wall built outside that holds up the canyon side, it's very aesthetically pleasing, and the seating was very comfy once we moved outside to sit by the fire pit. Not a big restaurant but was cozy and I found it yo be quite comfy. Will definitely visit again soon!

This restaurant is located inside the Cambria Hotel in Calabasas. For my wifes birthday dinner she decided to get food here and take it back to our room since they do not offer room service. When we walked up to the staff , they did not give off a welcoming vibe. When I went to get a menu to look at the one guy was quick to tell me the other guy already has a menu for me to look at. Gees. Ok. I guess the menu I was about to touch was super special. Or maybe it wasn't meant for the brown skinned folks. Thats the kind of impression I got. Anyways. We made our order and was quoted 15 minutes for it to be ready. Ok cool. Paid my bill even gave the server a nice cash tip even though I felt the way I did. So 20 minute's passed. Still not ready. 30 minutes later. Burger and pretzel is ready. 7 minutes later salmon is finally ready. Mind you there were ZERO customers at the time we ordered. So anyway. We take the food up to the room and as we are about to eat, I taste tested everything and it was either hard or overcooked. The pretzel was hard like a rock. The salmon seemed as if it were deep fried. The burger was overcooked and sloppy. Everything about this dinner was a disaster. From beginning. To the end. I was so upset especially this being a birthday dinner my wife chose. So I took the whole dinner back and demanded a refund. The prices for these meals were too high for what they were dishing out. If you're reading this review. Don't bother wasting your money eating here. Like eating McDonalds but paying for steak and lobster. It just ain't right. Get outta here!!! Not sure if its just me. But they seem to treat colored folks here differently.

Clean facilities, the customer service was a bit questionable seeing how the waitress literally asked me three times if I wanted my food to go (I felt as if she was telling me to leave) . Then I got my food and I had to ask for everything starting with silverware, salt and ketchup. Not the most inviting atmosphere but only due to the waitress honestly.I don't think i feel comfortable returning however the food was okay.

Nice cosy restaurant with tables by the pool. Very chill and calm. Great food (except for the cheesecake which I didn't love . Good service. Would recommend :
