I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, and the service was great. I tried one of their sub sandwiches and it was so filling that I couldn't finish the whole thing. The sweet potato fries were also delicious. The restaurant is in a good location, very close to other businesses in Calais, Maine. I will definitely be back. Parking was easy and conveniently located near the restaurant. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5. I would highly recommend trying the Italian dishes. There was plenty of parking available, including free street parking options. The price per person for a meal is between $10-$20 for dinner.

I challenge anyone to name a better restaurant in Maine than Jo's Diner. That food was awesome! We ate there twice in the same day while we were in Calais for Hurricane Lee and they stayed open through the whole storm. It has an old classic 1980s pizza parlor feel to it you don't see anymore these days. Friendly accommodating staff too.
