The restaurant offers a great selection of authentic dishes with high quality. The staff is friendly and service is prompt.
The worst thai food I've had in Brisbane. $20 thai seafood salad only has 3 prawns and 3 pieces of squid, the rest are all lettuce, onion and clear rice noodle, and lack of favour. The basil stir fry tastes too sweet. Fried rice is very oily. service is good but I wont go back.
Authentic Thai flavours, service is acceptable, cost is reasonable. Ok for a quick night out if you really enjoy Thai food.
We tried the Som Tham green papayar salad, Larb Ped (duck salad Lao style), and crispy spicy quail. Each dish was beautifully prepared and cooked, with fresh ingredients, and great authentic flavour. The curry puffs and Thai spring roll entrees were freshly home made and melted in the mouth. The restaurant is new and modern in style. The service is good, and the restaurant is family operated, offering dine in (BYO) and takeaway, at reasonable prices. They also offer an online ordering service. The servings are large, and staff packed our leftovers to takeaway! I've tried the other Thai restaurants in the area, but Thai Lao is our favourite now. The food here is to die for !
