We stopped at cafe central whilst shopping in and around the market square at Caldas da Rainha. We sat outside drinking our coffee and eating the delicious pastel de nata's, whilst watching the world go by. A fantastic cafe in a great setting at very...reasonable prices.

This Cafe has been a part of my life since I can remember. I love the ice creams and the sales they serve for lunch. The decoration is elegant and the mural by Julio Pomar is a true gift.

Great location, good food and excellent coffee. Lots of history in this place and the location. Friendly staff, snacks and meals and open all day. Reasonably priced.
