There are lots of pastelerias everywhere in Portugal. What sets this one apart is that the pastries are mostly made by local people and thus better than the standard store bought ones available everywhere else. They also serve light lunches (homemade soup). As a typical pasteleria, it is open during the day and closed on Sunday. This is the place we always visit when we go to the Farmers' Market held daily in the Praca da Fruta in Caldas. This place is located along the northeastern side of the Praca. There is no parking unless you are lucky to find one. You can also park in the nearby Cultural Center, which has a garage. Lately, you got one hour of free parking.
