Travelled from Manchester after reading reviews on this page, It was worth the effort. Genuinely superb quality fish and chips. As mentioned in other reviews the couple that served us were lovely.

We have always had great fresh fish from Gemma and Anthony. They know how to fry. Their chips are exactly what Northern men like my husband, demand; good fat chips not skinny French Fries

I travel all over the northwest with work so I do tend to eat in far too many cafes and takeaways some good some not but this old style English chippy with its traditional chippy menu is a gem of a place every time I’ve been the foods been spot on and such friendly staff it’s nice to find these hidden gems

Delicious fish and chips. A place you will return to. Never disappoints. Fish very fresh with lovely light crispy batter none of that awful soggy interior you find in some other places. Great service too!

This restaurant is clean, extremely helpful and friendly, affordable, and serves amazing fish and chips (they also offer pies and sausages, among other dishes). There is truly nothing to complain about. We usually dine in, but due to COVID restrictions, we are currently only doing takeout. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond to assist their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant.
