Contribuisci feedbackThe Cafe used to do full meals and breakfasts now it is basically a coffee shop with the old buns and cakes. We used to look forward meeting up for a Christmas breakfast prior to doing or big Christmas shop but now can't as they don't serve so we will have to shop elsewhere, can Sainsbury's afford to loose this custom for sake of a few breakfasts ?????
This café just cannot get it right. Only a few people in front but the wait is still a minimum of 15 minutes! The menu is now very basic and then they haven 't even got all of those items available ie. no wholegrain toast or jam. This is not even the first time this happened in the space of a couple of weeks. Staff are friendly but clearly under resourced and whoever is supposed to manage the place can 't.
We were all disappointed that there were no breakfast or cooked food options, so we decided to leave and do our shopping elsewhere. We used to enjoy coming here, but when they reopened after Covid, we were very disappointed.
I ordered takeout and it was served on plates. I paid for bacon with extra sausage, but when I got to work and opened it, there was no bacon at all. They had clearly reheated my omelette in the microwave as it tasted rubbery. The toppings on the omelette were piled on so thick it resembled an omelette calzone. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
1 15 lunch time . Stood in a long line for 30 mins , moved only 3 paces . 1 person serving drinks , 1 taking food orders and payments . 1person bringing food orders out Another line formed at the other end of the till asking for refunds for orders they had waited over half an hour for . Customers running back down the line grabbing sandwiches and cake from almost empty chiller cabinets muttering about hot food orders will be at least 40 mins . Customers leaving line and going else where . Absolute chaos. People on limited lunch breaks have no chance of having lunch . In 30 mins I counted over 50 customers walking out . Before I did the same . It’s coming up double nectar promotion and Christmas . Management need to get their act together and employ more staff if they want to keep their customers . Been going down hill for a very long time today was a total disgrace . Worst service I’ve encountered in years .
