Sister had nacho’s and they were amazing. The service was exceptional. They were very busy and still managed to serve our food in good time with a smile. Going to another event on Saturday and will be definitely calling in for food and drinks beforehand. You even get 10% off your order when you book an event at the Piece Hall or Victoria Theatre . Highly recommend.
Very disappointing. I ordered a Tomato, Mozarella and Pesto Baguette. The baguette was okay, tomatoes okay but the mozarella was rubbery, pre-packed mozarella. Given the price of the baguette I really did expect fresh mozarella. My husband ordered the Greek salad and was also disappointed- far too many thick slices of cucumber and overall presentation lacked imagination.
Been here several times now always enjoyed our food. Great selection of sandwich selections hot options lovely cakes and tray bakes. Today didn’t disappoint but service was on the slow side compared to usual which was a shame . But loving the new layout furniture
Our first visit to this establishment, we had 2 small breakfasts. After a extremely long wait they arrived, obviously cooked to order. They were delicious well worth the wait. Lovely surroundings, friendly staff. Would have been 5 star had it not been for the fact our waitress was wearing false nails. A definite NO when working with food. I used to own a cafe myself and my staff would not have been allowed false nails, I also think the environmental health would have had something to say about the nails.
Never again. A long wait for a cold, thin, dry sausage sandwich. Two sausage sandwiches, two teas, £15.00. I feel like I've been robbed. It used to be quite good here, but since the refurbishment, down hill.
