I brought more of my family this melody and they agreed that the mandarin chicken, fried rice, chow mine, and many others were the best they had, plus the prices are great here. The staff is very friendly, which is a plus! They would not think that a golf-themed sports bar would have such a variety as steak, American food and Chinese, but they pull it very well.
I've been here a few times and it's ok. Very forgettable experience. The food is decent. The staff is great though.
Met family for dinner while visiting from Oregon. Menu was interesting, kind of a mixed bag of items. Decided on the Korean beef, no rice and kimchi/pickled veggies on the side. My food was amazing. Husband ordered the chicken fried steak. He thought it was less than average, big portion but a strange breading. Served with mashed potatoes and gravy, he said all he could taste was gravy. I love the history of the place, but customer service was iffy. Drinks were strong. Wouldn't go out of our way to go back.
Our waitstaff was awesome! We had a large group and she didn't mind that we were moving around, coming and going, and ordering at all different times. I wish I could remember her name to give her credit for a job well done. My garlic chicken was barely above ok. My friend's dish was delicious, so it just depends on what you order.
Upon arriving I thought the place was very cute and had a very homey vibe. Walking in, the place was golf themed and sort of retro. We were greeted fairly quickly and sat down at a table. The menus were cute but confusing and also golf themed, with the prices being extremely high. We took awhile to order, deciding to first start out with clam chowder soup (the only soup they have, so don't even bother asking what the soup of the day is) and some onion rings. The soup was actually fairly good and didn't have a super fishy taste to it which I appreciated. The onion rings were strange and were orange. They were essentially tasteless even with salt and pepper added to it. They were very soft and tasted like sweet potato fries too me. They were served with weird sweet chili sauce that didn't help improve the taste at all. My friend ordered the chicken fingers and said that the breading for it was good and the sweet mustard sauce was also good. Her dish was also bland but it was a step up from the onion rings. I ordered the grilled chicken noodles which turned out to be very different from what I thought it would be. It turned out to just be a type of Chinese stir fry and was also fairly bland. The sauce was goopy in some areas of the dish too which made it a lot less appetizing to eat. The veggies in it were also very undercooked. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our waitress to ask us if we wanted boxes and then another 10 just to get a check. Then we had to wait in line for what seemed like forever just to pay for our food and leave. At this point me and my friend were feeling fairly sick and just wanted to pay and go. All in all it wasn't a great experience and I'm not sure I'd come back here.
