Sat there for 15 minutes only to find out you had no ribs. We left. The previous time before that we drove to Caledonia for ribs, you had only 1 rack left and we had to share it with friends. Thats twice in a row. Great food but disappointed the past 2 trips that you had no ribs at 5 pm on a Saturday.
Can't beat half-price appetizers on Mondays! Pulled pork poutine was awesome too Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Pulled pork dry and over cooked. Small portion. No sauce. Barely eatable. The poutine is beef gravy lacking flavour and not poutine gravy and basically no cheese curds at all. The burgers are seared on the outside and raw in the center. I wouldn't tell my enemies to eat here.
Driving through Caledonia and decided to stop in.for a late dinner. Our party ordered BBQ staples smoked wings, ribs and burgers. The food was excellent, and with many great beer selections available, we were beyond satisfied. Everyone was filled with their portions, great value. Also, prior to our departure the band Route 6 started their set! Fabulous! We will be back! Service: Dine in
Title: Hearty Breakfast Delight at Hammer Hogs in Caledonia If you're craving a hearty Southern-style breakfast that won't break the bank, look no further than Hammer Hogs in Caledonia, ON. Nestled in this small town, this gem of a restaurant delivers on both portion size and value. I recently indulged in their breakfast offering and was blown away by what I received for just $10.50. The plate boasted three large eggs cooked to perfection, accompanied by generous heaps of real potato home fries that were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. But the star of the show was undoubtedly the five thick slices of bacon that were practically begging to be devoured. Each slice was cooked to crispy perfection, with just the right amount of smoky flavor to tantalize the taste buds. To round out the meal, the toast was served up on hearty rye bread, providing the perfect vehicle for sopping up any remaining yolk or bacon grease. Now, it's worth mentioning that Hammer Hogs can get quite busy, and being in a small town means there may be a bit of a wait for your food. However, let me assure you, it's well worth it. The bustling atmosphere only adds to the charm of the place, and the friendly staff do their best to keep things moving smoothly. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Caledonia and in need of a satisfying breakfast that won't empty your wallet, do yourself a favor and head to Hammer Hogs. With their generous portions, unbeatable prices, and cozy atmosphere, it's a breakfast experience you won't soon forget. Highly recommended.
