Milestones Grill + Bar - Calgary - Stephen Avenue

I’ve visited this Milestone’s several times, usually just before the theatre. Meals and service have always been great, definitely a favourite downtown restaurant.

There were three of us for lunch. We sat down at 11:35 it took them almost 20 minutes to find our bottle of wine with no apology when it was delivered. Then when our lunch came out two of the three of our meals came out luke warm at best. When one our parties dropped her fork on the ground just as a waiter walked by he just looked at her and continued on.

Server did not ask for refills or did not check in with us if we needed anything.

I don’t think the restaurant actually checks the occasion the reservation is booked for as there was not a mention of my husband’s bday and I sent a message that was never answered.

Had a reservation and because of this they would seat us in the half empty patio. Then had us in the lounge instead of the restaurant. When I asked for the restaurant they put us in the very back area large groups were seated. Seemed to be a detriment to have a reservation. Not a good experience.
