A Taste Of Saigon - Calgary

My family is a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, so we are willing to travel far and wide to discover the best. This restaurant, located from Airdrie to downtown, is outstanding and has become one of our favorites. We do wish the prices were a bit lower, but the excellent flavors make it worth the slightly higher cost.

By far the best place to eat Pho in the city. If you haven't tried their coconut chicken curry soup then you seriously haven't lived. I have to stop myself from buying it ALL the time. Because I seriously could live off it

This was the second time I have been to this restaurant, the food is good but there are a lot of inconsistencies. Both times I had the coconut curry beef pho, first time was flavourful with a thin broth, second time had must thicker broth with a less enjoyable taste. The first time we had the spring rolls, they were not very good, this time however they tasted like pork sausages, different yet again but so good! Lastly, the service. It took awhile for us to order beverages, both food and drink orders came out at different times, my main came out 5-7 minutes before my spouses. If they were busy, I could understand, however they were completely empty.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! #37 (coconut lime tamarind soup) is addictive! The staff are all very kind, knowledgable the food is unreal!! If you have gluten intolerance they can accommodate

This restaurant is the best place ever. It recently went through a renovation, not by choice, but it is now open again and just as good as before. The spicy beef sub and Pho are both amazing, as well as pretty much everything else on the menu. You must go and check it out.
