Now it is a buffet in a corner of the room, with all the sweets in the open in the room. People are supposed to use plastic gloves to treat the objects, but I only see people with their mere fingers (gross) and cross-contamination by touching other objects. The buffet is small and boring, with mediocre food. Not quality. I can't go any more because the contaminated food sucks me out.
My wife and I were invited for the first time by their long-term friend to visit this place together. The friend, the Eastern Indian nationality about Rwanda, has family experience in producing her own spices and food preparation and therefore a lot of weight in... the opinion of any restaurant we try, so we trust her. Located in Little India district, NW corner of McKnight and 52.,. full of options to choose the afternoon relax and eat, was a delightful, although smaller choice, it was worth it. I personally try not to go to buffets because I tend to pamper over, so, this made it easy for me to have a great taste of good quality dishes without being a bit glutinous (we do not hear many conversations about overeating these days / I am only sensitive to the topic . In other words, I am very happy to say that I enjoyed the food, the quantities and the great to the taste. All spices were adjusted with a beautiful mix of yogurt and buttermilk. Recommended Bombay Sweet House in NE Calgary.
That was the first time I had a Bombay snack I had heard a lot of my friends. our Amchi-mumbai snack is very famous in the very indies. but finding the same with the same authenticity in a place as calgary was the best part of my recent visit to calgary.
We love going for her buffet. 12 articles plus salad bar and desserts. Everything is hot and delicious. Servers are friendly. Prices reasonable.
Lady answering the call knows very minimal english so hard to understand anything. But restaurant was very nice loved the interiors but food was not that good. for the first time saw chicken tandoori in water, there was hair in rice. serving guy was concerned...and said sorry and thats all.
