Boston Pizza - Calgary

Stopped in for a pizza and a pint - there was a special that day - pizza was good and hot - beer was cold and yummy - service was nice and friendly and not rushed

Maybe we're the only ones, but we love Boston Pizza. Usually the food is quick, service very good and overall a reliable experience. Jim Treliving would absolutely drop his jaw coming to this location...and not in a good way either. We specifically went for the spinach/artichoke dip and noticed they changed the recipe - it's now topped with bruschetta and at least half the portion of dip it once was. There are eight pieces of pita and a ramekin with barely anything in it but a huge clump of tomatoes. So much for the dip?We also ordered pizza, small size which ended up being the size of a normal dinner plate and costing us 17$.Thinking a chain restaurant will offer consistency? Think again. We have been to many BP's locations in Calgary and this is by far the most expensive. We were even charged 1.25$ for a tiny amount of hot sauce. My feeling it has something to do with being located on 17th Avenue and having a lot of competition....Last thing to mention which could have saved the experience was service. Absolutely horrific. The girls in there didn't even look presentable, never mind caring about tending to the few tables they had. The one woman who looked like she was a manager even had the audacity to give us the stink eye and comment when we could no longer wait and stood up to pay at the bar. I wouldn't go back here if it was the last BP's on Earth.

Service at this restaurant receives 4 stars. The food is pretty standard for a BP's, but let's be real - their pizza is better than average.

It's a chain just like every Boston Pizza, food was good price was average just a basic pizza place, we just felt like having pizza and Boston pizza was just there.

I ordered a medium pizza which was pretty good. Lots of TV's inside the place with soccer and baseball on. If there was an important game on it would be televised here. Lots of seating inside and you can relax outside as well. Prices weren't too nuts and the food was OK.
