The lemon pepper wings are very tasty, and you have to try their home made tater totes!I have been here with family, friends, and on business lunches. Day or night, it is a great spot to go!
As much as I love a good burger, I rarely order one when we go out because the chances are it will be a huge disappointment and not worth the calories! This time I was very pleasantly surprised! I had the Magic Mushroom burger which was a handmade patty topped with portobellini mushrooms, a hint of truffle aioli, boursin cheese and arugula, all presented on a lovely brioche bun! It was amazing! The patty was nicely seasoned, juicy but not greasy. The toppings were just right and the whole thing was so good that I may not wait another six months before having another restaurant burger! We had the tempura green beans to start and they were lovely. My husband had the mac and cheese with brisket ends and enjoyed it but we both agreed that the burger was the star! Service was great - we will definitely be back!
The 3rd star is because the staff was so friendly!! You want a great salad then choose the house salad it's amazing! I've been there twice now and I'm not sure why but the food is so greasy! There were six of us that stopped by the other night and it was over an hour to get our food....ok it was busy and I think they had maybe 2 waitstaff....3 if you included the poor bartender who was helping out. They were great!!!! One gal at our table ordered a poutine, I'm pretty sure the kitchen staff had skimmed the top of the gravy and dumped it on the fries....yup you all know what the top of the gravy is! It was like her fries were floating in clear liquid fat. She did send them back and the second time around they were great. Another person ordered the burger.....it was really good BUT the bottom of the plate had a ton of grease. Same with the pizza.....soggy centre because of the grease that had pooled in the middle. I had the jerk chicken, it was definitely not what was described on the menu. Maybe they ran out of chicken because what I got was a once frozen chicken breast that was chopped in rubbery textured squares, even the waiter acknowledged it looked a bit different .....I feel terrible saying this because it sounds like I'm a huge jerk and like to complain!!! I swear I don't, I worked in the restaurant industry for years and common sense is key!!!! This place has so much potential but I feel they would benefit having someone doing quality checks as the food comes out for the first few months.
We went there for brunch a while back. We ordered 2 gin Caesars each plus 1 meal each. Our bill was over $70.00. The Caesars were $10.00 each and didn't even have any garnishes or anything on them. Food was just OK. Service was quite slow as well and there were only 2 other tables in the place. I'm not sure how anyone affords to go here. I'd like to give it another chance but I didn't enjoy my first experience.
We've visited twice since it opened and both times had great food and great service. Love that there's some kids board games ready to play while you wait. Another fantastic addition to Bridgeland.
