Bull & Finch Pub Restaurant - Calgary

We went there on a Saturday night, didn't know it was karaoke. We didn't stay too long because it was sooooo loud I thought I'd be deaf walking out for sure. The service was great, our waitress was funny and a great singer. We just had a couple drinks and took advantage of their buy one get one ½ off appys. (pickles and spinach dip. Dip was alright, pickles were soggy.) We'd probably stop again if we stayed on that end, but maybe not on a Sat if the music is always that loud and only If they did some dusting, for fear it would end up in our food/drinks

Weekday specials are good, tasty, and priced right. Regular menu probably 10% overpriced. Interior is roomy and cozy. Food is served promptly and hot. Staff for the most part is friendly and efficient however after the dinner hour some of the waitresses retreat to regulars tables and make it difficult for that second drink or bill to arrive in a prompt manner. Some more attention from the evening supervisor would be nice.

Excellent service, good food, reasonably priced. Warm friendly atmosphere, comfortable patio dining.

I went there with a business associate. we had the daily special which was tacos in a soft shell with marinated steak. Would go there again.

2016 September 2.We went there with out of town friends who were visiting for the Labor Day weekend. Great service by Kat, she was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and funny. The Cardiac Arrest Burger is too much to consume by most people, and my buddy made a good attempt! Been there a few times already.It is a pub, so 18 and over.
