Chinese Valley Restaurant - Calgary

This is a fantastic spot for Chinese cuisine! I have been getting takeout from them at least twice a week, especially lately. The flavors are incredible and I have been ordering from them for the past year. I highly recommend the dumplings and ginger beef.

This is the best place in calgary to get fast Chinese food. a must try! every time I order from here, eating is always fresh and they care to give the best service they can. I love this place.

We have frequented this neighborhood restaurant many times over the years. It is now under new management/ownership and continues to pleasantly surprise us. Its unassuming appearance may seem like a hole in the wall, but that is often a good sign. We have come to expect consistently good food here. The Beef Shanghai noodle, salt and pepper seafood, Singapore noodle, and ginger beef are all excellent choices. They offer free ginger beef with a $35 purchase and a 10% discount for cash transactions. For a special treat, ask for their house chicken, which must be pre-ordered 24 hours in advance as it is marinated in a black vinegar sauce. This dish is very traditional and reminiscent of the food we had in China. The House Chicken may not be to everyone's liking, but it is very close to authentic Chinese cuisine.

Recently, this restaurant has changed ownership and it has improved. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.
