I will visit and of course I will go back there. I was there twice with friends and saw that this restaurant is absolutely not to visit
Dimsum is by far the best of all Chinese restaurants in calgary. try their hotpot rice with ripening. they use the traditional real Chinese method to make hotpot reis. if they don't like to dimsum, they'll try dinner. there are so many special dishes and all. that I tried (more than 10 already) was super good! bring their family and friends to this hidden gem in the city. also many parking spaces on the back. they can even walk in the inner city after their meals.
Beautiful quiet location. service somewhat slow for beverage refills. buffet was what I expected. decent. but for the price I paid for the time of the day. great price.
Please, please check your total amount as well as your income and bank account if you want to order here. they add / change sharp amount without knowing it. I was there because I was in the opposite. the fact that it was. obviously no one rushed during dinner would have been a red flag, but I was tired and hungry. I order maple tofu and a beef-peace shell. it took about 15 minutes, but only after I got my food, the older Chinese waitress decided to steal me. I signed my pie and took me. when I went out, I looked at my reception and noticed that there was another $3,50 in the tip area. I always type in cash, so when I saw this, I went back immediately to ask why there was an extra $3,50 in the top section. she looks fluent and gave me some BS excuse that automatically calculates 10% for taking out the machine. this is a straight lie, because every time I dived in any restaurant in Canada, I manually paid a percentage or total amount once the server puts my card in the machine. I asked why there was no sign or why she hadn't confirmed it with me verbally and had nothing to say. After I think about it, this waitress pressed some buttons before they gave me my reception. after reading some of the commentary from other yasser say that they are going to run water and take boxes for din in customers, I am astonished that this place is still open and runs after all the shady things they do to squeeze out an additional dollar and if they ask themselves, eating was terrible. please saves headaches and disappointment and otherwise where! there are so many other Chinese restaurants that are more ethical and have much more edible food! if they decide to eat here, check their reception and bank account (if they make adjustments later! .
This restaurant is now under new owner and management. Went there for dim sum lunch. Food and portion was ok. Pricing was standard. The “worst” food item we ordered was the Red bean pan fried cake. The cake was not chewy, something wrong with the...dough. Anyway, everything was ok, not super outstanding. Still worth to go for lunch dim sum.
