Fusion Sushi Downtown - Calgary

I had a positive experience with the staff and found the environment clean and pleasant. I visited this location for lunch and was satisfied with the menu offerings. Although I wish sashimi was included in the lunch deal, it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

I thought this was wonderful from an all you can eat perspective. The fish is fresh. It's a nicely decorated place. Definitely worth it. Great for lunch meetings and family gatherings.

This restaurant offers the best value sushi in Calgary. The prices are reasonable, with lunch costing around $18 and dinner around $28. Personally, I prefer the dinner menu as I am a fan of sashimi and salmon roses, but the lunch menu is also very good. I particularly enjoy the spicy crispy salmon and tuna rolls, which are difficult to find elsewhere with tempura flakes. The cooked food is popular among other diners, although it is not to my taste. The serviceable tempura is not fantastic, but it is decent. When dining for dinner with my family, including a 1 year old and a 3 year old, we are well taken care of. The interior could use an update, but overall, this is one of only two sushi restaurants in Calgary that I have visited more than once.

They have a similar menu to 'One Sushi ' but they 're definitely cheaper for buffet. The location may be a bit difficult for those who want to drive there since parking downtown is always a hassle. The service is quite quick though, and the food is served hot and fresh! The restaurant is larger than it looks from the outside and not as shabby as you 'd expect from their exterior.

I typically go for lunch an for the price (18$ I always leave satisfied. The iPad ordering is very convenient as each entry has a picture of the dish. I recommend the shrimp tempura, general Tao 's chicken, red curry pad thai, wings (dip in red curry sauce afterwards! , salmon teriyaki, spicy salmon/tuna sushi, 4pc special rolls, and cheese wontons. Avoid the beef teriyaki (tough , mushroom tempura (gross , mackerel sushi (salty and 'fishy '-tasting , 8pc special roll, and soups (bland . Also be careful when ordering because some of the dishes, like the pad thais and noodle soups, come in big servings, probably to fill you up faster.
