Hearts Choices Northeast - Calgary

I ordered from the market and tried the bacon ranch burger alongside a Caesar salad and jackfruit nachos. The burger was really flavorful and quite large! The Caesar salad was also generous in size and featured a great mock vegan dressing. Although I’m not typically a fan of poutine, I found the jackfruit nachos with fries to be quite tasty. The queso sauce was delicious and came separately, so it stayed crisp. There was a good amount of jackfruit, which was flavorful, though there was more jackfruit than fries. Overall, it's a great spot for vegan comfort food, and I would definitely go back! Updated from my previous review on October 21, 2023.

Where do I start? Everything they make is fresh, delicious, well priced and big portions. Even my non vegan friends and family love it! The cauliflower bites are my favorite

Delicious and generous portions. My friend had the ginger chickun wrap with onion rings and I had the french beef dip with hand cut fries. Everything was craveably good and even though we were starving the struggle was real to finish everything. Love the market that makes it so you can buy some of that tasty seitan for home. Which I totally did. We also happened to be there while they gave away some tasty nan noodle dishes for takeaway. An unexpected and amazing bonus. Definitely a great place to try and I personally recommend the french beef dip.

I liked the atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was busy. I was not crazy about some of the flavours, but overall enjoyed my visit. Deep fried comfort food may have been outside of my lunch comfort zone. Would go back.

If you’re in the area and thinking of visiting- just do it! It was incredible!! I had the chik’n caesar wrap with chips and my gf had the pulled pork sandwich with chips- both to die for flavour wise!!
