I was pleasantly surprised at this place! prices are moderate, but not cheap, the service was perfect and the very good food. We ask for a white wine and a sangria to drink (very recommended) and then I ordered the enchiladas of the meat and my friend asked for the chicken tacos. everything was delicious, and the amount of food was good. Although it's not exactly the most authentic Mexican food I've ever eaten, it would just come back through the environment. It is a great restaurant and certainly a meeting place for friends, oted has a good time and the festive atmosphere is contagious. Furthermore, it is located in joto on 10th Street, which is already a small leisure area.
We experienced a lot of lightning from thunderstorms during our visit to Was wanting food and ended up here after walking from river surfing on the 10th St. bridge. The restaurant has a nice set up with...
I was a huge fan of Julio's in the past. When I was younger at 18, I was easily impressed by their colorful and boozy drinks (okay, I still am). The drinks were always a highlight for me.
I have never had a good meal at Julio's. As a result, I no longer come here for dinner. I only visit if someone wants to grab drinks or simply hang out.
We won't be going back. Service was terrible and management refused to take any responsibility. It took an hour and a half to get food after we got to our table, my appetizer came after I had already gotten my meal, and we only got one round of drinks in that time. We had to grab the server when she was whizzing by to get more drinks. The server disappeared after we got our food and didn't return for almost an hour. They seated our group of nine next to a huge group of 25 and our table basically got forgotten about. The server was slammed, upstairs and the main floor was practically empty. The management waived the mandatory 18% gratuity, but we didn't see it as the servers fault, more of a staff mismanagement. The food was alright, and I did enjoy my meal, but the Bulldog margarita mix is loaded with sugar and the fried ice cream isn't fried ice cream at all, but more like a sundae with some crunchy bits in it. Oh, and some girl at the table next to ours threw up on the floor right there in the middle of the restaurant while we were waiting for food. Not appetizing!
