Kinjo Sushi Grill - Calgary

Ordered through delivery app and fish was far from fresh, couldn't eat it due to the smell. Even the avocado in the roll looked like it had been sitting out for a while. Always loved this Kinjo, but as of recent the quality seems to be getting worse.

They have drastically reduced the protein, all you get is a 1.5 x 2 piece of pork and half an egg on a deluxe ramen. I rather spend a bit more and have a fair portion at their competitions.

Kinjo is usually a good place to eat. Today unfortunately not.Placed a order from the milrise location and upon the skip the dishes delivery we found a dead grass hopper in the green salad. It has caused us to lose our appetite and we are unable to eat the rest of the food.Skip the dishes was absolutely no help. Refunded $5 for the salad and ended the chat after I asked what about the rest of the meal.Called kinjo directly and was offered a $15 credit for future meals. What is wrong with the service industry. Between skip the dishes and the massive chain kinjo neither can offer a full credit even though both agree that's absolutely disgusting.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is incredible. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the manager ensures that everything is running smoothly. Everyone seems happy. The food is fantastic and delicious. I highly recommend it. I would give it a 20 out of 10 for the amazing experience and service.
