Les Moulins La Fayette - Calgary

Love the chocolate caramel. It’s my favourite treat in the city. We go here often. They have baked goods, patisseries, meals and drinks. Highly recommend.

We had the almond croissant (average), pistachio croissant (excellent), and triple chocolate mousse cake (average). Bit overpriced given the quality/size of the baked goods (Yum and Good Bear nearby are better in both respects). Great service and ambiance.

Went for lunch. We stepped in to the place nobody greeted us and staff didn't have any information about the menu items, or sandwich fillings. After we decided and were ready to order, the guy at the register was talking to his colleague and didn't even bother to ask if we were ready or needed any help. We had to wait about for a bit and at the end we asked them if we should leave and come back another time as they seemed busy talking to each other.

This place is a hidden treasure. Everything there is very good from the sandwiches, pastries and coffee. It is very busy and sometimes hard to get a table, but it's worth the wait.
