The tortillas tasted incredibly fresh, unlike any packaged brand. The flavor was outstanding. It's the kind of place that exceeds your expectations. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a dive bar - damp, hot, crowded, but the service is friendly and quick. This is a 4-star dining experience without the need to dress up. Don't miss out on this place - you won't be let down. Plus, there's live jazz and blues music. It's an epic spot.
I used to live near this restaurant, which was my go-to spot. The owner would make big pots of chili on Sundays for football games. The ambiance is charming, although it's starting to show some wear. They feature some great music - I recently returned and caught a solid blues band performance. The food is still tasty, with classic pub fare that pairs well with a cold beer. I sometimes miss the days when I could just stumble back home after a visit.
This restaurant is located in a remote area, making it a bit difficult to find. However, the effort to get there is definitely worth it. We visited for an afternoon jam session and had a fantastic time. The cozy atmosphere, with its narrow hallway room, was crowded but enjoyable. The music was great, and surprisingly, the food was delicious as well. The fish and chips special was excellent, with large fillets and a tasty Caesar salad. The fish tacos were also a hit, as were the nachos that our additional guests ordered. Overall, the meal was much better than average. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit.
Finally managed to stop into this little place located in the industrial side of downtown. Kind of a Troll under the Bridge thing. The decor is really neat. A combination of jazz and blues memorabilia covers the walls with a small stage built up front.<br/ <br/ The place was crowded, which you would expect on a Friday night. The service was quick and friendly. We were not very hungry so just ordered the jambalaya for the two of us. It was excellent. The perfect amount of spice with a generous amount of seafood. The dish was well cooked and the presentation was on point. The price was decent too.<br/ <br/ This is a super fun little place and will definitely return. There was a lot of other food we saw but there just wasn't enough of us for all the food we would have eaten.
Great place to eat and have a drink. It doesn't seems like much from the outside but inside the joint it's really cozy. Nice place to hang out
