Original Joe's Deerfoot City - Calgary

Thank you to our waitress Elizabeth. I was evacuated from Fort McMurray on Tuesday and since then I have had a very stressful week. I came to have lunch at Original Joes before heading to my temporary home. Our waitress Elizabeth was one of the best I 've ever had. She genuinely cared about my situation, listened with intent and to top it off, was extremely prompt. To top it off I received my bill that was at 0.00 with a note saying 'this one is on us ' I was overcome with emotion and kindness. She gave me a hug, let me cry on her shoulder and wished me the best. If that isn 't above and beyond I don 't know what it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Love this new OJ's.. 1/2 price wine gets us there Thursdays.. and the view to watch the sunset is wonderful.. and so is the service and food!
