We had a small meeting of former colleagues and the organizer was impressed by this restaurant and so were all people in the group. our server was amazing, so friendly, attentive, organized and fun. eating is excellent! they really try, not. offer everything Ho-hum, each court has some twist on it. I had her fab hot chicken sandwich (deep-fried crispy chicken breast, very delicate, with spicy hot oil dipped.) I also like that they had many side options, some unique as the broccolini I had (can be half a minute in the category overdon, but still be nice.) everyone found something to their taste and we had a taste all articles seemed to be in pennies of $20, and so I wish they were just so priced, but they had a good range of sides included.
We are here twice in the last two weeks and enjoyed every bite. at the last opportunity I ordered for the first time the new crispy flowers tacos with sweet potatoes. delicious. my son ordered the spoton burger and he agreed with me that it is an excellent burger. he also liked that was one of the optionally available side brocollini.
Awesome dining, fantastic food and matching service. The French onion supper was great with a unique presentation. It was 1/2 price pizza night but the pizza was triple great. First time here but will not be my last. Worth a drive across town.
The Spot On Burger was a disaster. Wilted lettuce, paper thin tomato, couldn't find the cheese, crappy bun, meat was cold. Fries were even worse, Longest fry was 1.5 inches, they were dry and tough and cold, the dregs of the batch. What kind of...pub can't make decent burger? Spot on Kitchen and Bar of course. Server was super friendly but service was slow. Maybe understaffed in the kitchen? Will never darken their doorway again.
