Soup was unexpectedly salty, told the waitress, and they gave us free green tea ice-cream as compensation. Surprisingly good service. The sushi and sashimi boat was a good deal, either price or quality, highly recommended.
This is my favorite hidden restaurant.there are lots of Japanese restaurants in Calgary however there are not many restaurants owned and operated by Japanese.this is one of few restaurants. since they offer very authentic style Japanese.if you feel to try something very authentic / traditional Japanese.this is the one. they serve very fresh sushi / sashimi there.
I usually order Sushi Bistro Anzu by SkipTheDishes. They have great all around sushi and side dishes. The quality is good, not the best I've had but good for the price.
I always pass by this place but never entered until now. Very small restaurant, so very cosy and cute. As with most places I have seen in Calgary, not busy so we were greeted immediately and seated right away. The waitress brought us the menus and their specials board which was very nice. Took our drink orders and we ponder the specials. We took the boat and oyster pancake. And also tried the tonkotsu ramen. All was good and we were full. Came out to just a bit over $100 with green tea for two. Overall, consistent with places in Calgary.
Stumbled upon this place as the resurant that we wanted to go to was closed. We were delighted! Very good and quick service!
