Sushi Kimu - Calgary

This restaurant has the best sushi in the area. Despite its small size, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The portions are generous.

Went to check this place out based on the reviews but was dissapointed. We ordered the shrimp dumplings but it didn't taste like shrimp. And all the speciality rolls were pretty similar.. and pricey. We tried the roll with calamari on top but wasn't too impressed unfortunately. The sashimi was fresh at least and Staff were very friendly and kind but will be looking for a better sushi alternative.

Portions for the lunch menu were generous, but prices were a little higher than expected. Service was very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious.

I ordered a couple of sushi rolls and was very impressed by the attention to detail in the food. The presentation was exquisite and the flavors were perfectly balanced. It felt like I was eating real, high-quality sushi, not the rushed and mediocre kind that can leave you feeling unsatisfied. I will definitely be returning to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and delicious, authentic food. Overall, I give it a perfect 10 out of 10.
