Swig's Pub and Grill - Calgary

Place was busy, but the only server Heather was a pleasure with. Always smiling and patient though she had the whole place to do with! The New Year's special meal was very good steak, potatoes, glazed carrots. All in... my group enjoyed the meal. Some ordered chicken wings later and they were hot and crisp and tasty. We go back a day to check the regular service and food.

We visited this cozy neighborhood pub recently twice. The first time a friend played in the band on Friday. The second was to check the open stage night every Wednesday night. We enjoyed the music on both occasions.

Always come here on Tuesday's for wing night, or any other night of the week or weekend when we don't want to cook. The servers are good. It's your typical pub menu, dive bar atmosphere, but those are personally my favourite type. They put on...fun events and have live bands. It's always a good time when we go there. Prices are great too.

We thought it was a late lunch in the afternoon. It was not very busy so the service was prompt. Good specialties on steak sandwiches and pints beer. The decor is quite standard for a neighborhood pub.

Have a friend that lives in the area and we go to this Pub a couple times a year period they have really good customer service and some pretty decent food with drink specials. Lots of locals good times and good atmosphere
