Taiyo - Calgary

Went here with my family. We ordered the dinner for four. Portions were good and the food was delicious. Will definitely return.

Great food Great staff Great value. Time and again we return to Taiyo and are always amazed at their consistency. Thanks for making our Valentine's date night special. A red rose and gift bag for my wife made everything that much more special.

This place is close to our house and my wife and I frequented this place for dinner on many occasions. If you are looking for quality sushi at a reasonable price this is the place to go. There Creek Side roll is our favorite!

Our first time at Taiyo was a very good one. Hubs had a sushi combo plate and I had the pork ramen. There really is a huge variety on the menu from sushi to grill items. Not being a huge sushi fan, I really appreciated this. It's also harder to find real ramen on a menu and I jumped at the pork ramen. A large, breaded pork cutlet floated in a rich, savoury broth and it was a great deal for $11.The service was fast and friendly at Taiyo. The place was hopping on a Saturday night but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The decor, as another reviewer mentioned, is simple. The booths are a little small if you're a larger person though. LIke a lot of places in the Creekside shopping mall, it was a little hard to find, but it's stashed between Frilly Lilly and a veterinary office.

Here the decor is very simple but the food excellent. Sampled the seaweed salad, eel unagi and ramen and all were very well done and presented. Not too expensive. Would gladly return.
