Good atmosphere, very friendly service and for someone who has a quieter ambience, we will definitely...return. I had the beef dip, which is served too often with Bland deli meat. Braided short rib!! How to make a beef dip. With the extras of Swiss cheese, juicy mushrooms, crispy onions it was one of the best dives I had in a long time. Yam-Fries were also excellent, although a little too much salt for my personal taste. We will try again some of the other offers.
There for dinner and our group ordered a variety of items including pizza that our server mentioned was $5 off per pizza. Two of us asked for a box after we couldn't finish the pizza. The 'runner' told us that we can't take our...links home because they're 'special'?? What is this policy? She was standing on her ground and repeated herself over politics. Then the server returned and apologized that the staff member is 'new'. The pizza wasn't so great. I don't want to go back.
I'm a carnivore, but I have friends and relatives who aren't. On Saturday night in this pub and it was devastating because I chose it and wanted to try it. My friend has Bruschetta. With no other vegetarian option, she ordered the...salad without chicken. Then the waitress came out and said the special dressing was fish based. So my friend got a boring salad without offer to reduce the price. She was too nice to ask. I didn't see my meal over the table. It is 2022 and I was not in a restaurant in years without at least one vegetarian past option. Guess what you stupid? Carnivores also want their friends to be happy!
We had a very good experience at the Tommyfield Gastro Pub. We were very kindly greeted and at the time we arrived, we were allowed to pick up our table and were not sitting. On the second floor the view is really nice and even at night... in winter quite good. Our server was very friendly and the service was fast and not too long to wait. The restaurant has TVs all over the place that show various sports programs. At the time of our visit it was mostly hockey and basketball. You have a special day and on Wednesday it is 29 cents per chicken wing with a sauce of your choice as well as happy hour every day from 3-6 o'clock. The food was very good and well prepared. We had Beef Stroganoff, the strawberry fields salad and fish chips as well as some of the wings as an appetizer. All the dishes were really good and we would eat them again. All in all, the visit was great and we will visit again.
Good experience. Good service and food. Ordered a pizza which was quite good. Staff was friendly and attentive. Only negative was the the volume on the the sports monitors were loud.
