Fried chicken was very good. Even tho the mashed potato was good, it seemed like it's powdered. That's only thing I would suggest be made with potato not powder. You won't regret stopping for a meal. The price was beyond reasonable. Maybe even cheap for what you get. Service: Dine in
What is a “Burgher Haus?” Why is it a buffet and grill at the same time? Is California, Missouri a city? A state? Two states? None of these questions matter. Even though it’s 30 minutes off of 70, I’ll be coming back next time I’m driving to KC from STL. Truly awesome burgers. Chicken looked great maybe I’ll try that next but the burgers are guaranteed 158% better than any similar offerings down 70. Someone is in the back making those patties. Deserts are fantastic. Service fast and pleasant. And there’s a buffet if you can’t decide what to get. I may not be any closer to understanding the geographic anomaly that is “California, Missouri,” but I now know what a Burgher House is and I love it.
