Burgher Haus - California

So glad we found the Burger Haus. We were welcomed and given recommendations for what is good and got a lot of food at excellent prices. Big Mike's burger may be one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had lunch there today. Lots of flies near the tables and landing on the buffet food. Employees didn't even wave them away. Ham and potatoes were good but not much else we tried. Had the worse piece of pie ever. Desserts were portioned out but couldn't tell what many of them were as they were unrecognizable.

Grandma’s cooking in a family owned restaurant. Huge chicken finger breast fillets. Great coke slaw and I don’t really like Cole slaw. All made fresh and the rolls are on a par with Lamberts Cafe (Home of throwed rolls). I go through California a lot on the way to the Lake and Burgher Haus is going to be my new lunch stop! Yummy, filling, and reasonably priced.

Had my 5 year old grandson with me tonight. They had no chicken legs no wings no thighs only breast. He wouldn't eat the Mac and cheese he said it was easy he said corn and green beans was nasty which is true. They heard me say several times I guess theirs no ck wings or legs . So he ate a little salad lol. Than to top it off you pay for buffet which includes ice cream he was happy to have NOPE it didn't work. I said to a worker I belive it was a male no ice cream he or she looked at me and walked away. Ummm never again ?

I found this marvellous place on my 3 1/2 hour road trip home one day and It is amazing!!The people here are so kind and personable! The food is also really good for their prices : i will recommend for anyone to stop in for a good meal or quick bite for the road!Thank you Burgher Haus for making this college kid’s trip home better?!! Parking: Nice wide parking spots : Kid-friendliness: A bright area with big windows so you can watch the cars go by
