There seems to be some confusion about whether or not food is available in Sequoia, and this place (the market) is open by year The grill closes at the end of Oct. but the market is a larger than ordinary convenience store. They have handmade sandwiches and fruits along with all other prepacked items. Unfortunately, the grill flatters its windows when they turn off what makes the whole place look closed.
It is a fully equipped gift shop! It was nice, but the items are a bit expensive as you would expect...but affordable! The grill is now closed, but the gift shop staff was friendly and helpful! I recommend this on your next visit. You have beer, food, liqueur and kigerette as well as gifts.
Good friendly staff, plentiful things so choose for gift items. Foodie stuff coffee can be found here. Washing room other facilities are available. It was a winter evening with -6 degrees C temperature when I was here. Snow was around this campus.
This place was fantastic. One person in our group made a joke that food was always good if the people were hungry enough, which is true, but everything we got was fresh and tasty. I had an Italian sub from the cooler, and it was so fresh that the bread hadn't even slightly dampened. I also ordered some fries to split, and they were super fresh, crispy, and hot clearly made to order. I wish I had tried the chicken strips, as they were recommended to me by staff in a different area of the park. The facility is sparkling clean, and condiments are easy to get decent amounts of actual cups instead of a thousand tiny packets. WARNING: If you have kids, there are hornets on the back porch area that simply will not leave you alone. Our group didn't have trouble with them, but by the end of the meal they certainly had zeroed in on our position. Secondary note the bathrooms were out of order, so we had to use the shower restrooms, and it was quite a roundabout to find them.
